The Rose Gala

I had the amazing opportunity to work with and brand Downtown Heaven's first annual Rose Gala. It was a little intimidating at first because I was given complete autonomy in terms of art direction; My only instructions were to use roses, and have a sense of fashion and glamour.

I decided to go with a more flat/linear approach because it has more interest when paired with a fashion aesthetic. Since it was also a winter/holiday event, I knew it had to have a semblance of red and green. However, the thought of working with those colors absolutely nauseated me, so I went with an alternative color palette that still felt holiday-y.

All in all, it was a successful event and definitely one of my favorite projects.
