It's Your Lucky Year GIF
Originally intended as a promotional illustration for my Instagram page, this GIF plays with the idea of the new year as turning a new corner, but in a fun way. A new year isn't a guarantee of a better one, there's always a bit of a risk, just like gambling.
I did a lot of visual research on what traditional slot machines look like, and included one of my favorites from my findings.
Assets created in Adobe Illustrator, then exported and animated in Adobe After Effects.
