LACMA Accordion

5 panel accordion I designed from LACMA's exhibit, 20th Century design: The Journey to Modernism. The exhibit featured a fascinating array of clever objects ranging from the first teddy bear, to Apple's bulky Macintosh computers. The foldable booklet is printed on matte card stock, with a spot gloss sheen accent in Ben-day dots. The dots are an encompassing symbol for the shapes seen in many of the objects in the exhibit such as the numbers on a rotary phone, and the spheres on the spindle ends of the Atomic Clock.
