Diaphanous
"Diaphanous: Characterized by such fitness of texture as to permit seeing through"
On May 8, my 56th day of quarantine, I woke up with the word 'diaphanous' bouncing around my head. What a sculptural word that is; Off the tongue it sounds like the unfurling of some ream of silk. It became the prompt for the illustration on this CD case. It was also how I was feeling that day; A little vulnerable, like I was that ream of silk just fluttering in the wind.
